I feel like I’ve been having trouble motivating myself some days, but most of the time, I get over it, and get it done.
Today was one of those days.
Between my friend and I, (who was also not very motivated,) we managed to muster up enough motivation to get in a solid 10 miles!
Technically, my running plan called for 11 miles today, but I’m trying not to get too caught up in the numbers…plus, I like to think that pushing the jogger might make up for that…maybe, at least a little?

Almost here…T-3 weeks!! Eeekkkk!!! 😬
Today was my last “race”…a 15k. So, I didn’t actually have any races during my training, so instead, tried to simulate my own. It didn’t really work out so well for my first two, but that’s all part of it, I guess. Not every run is gonna go the way I want.
Happy to report that today went much better! I still started out a little faster than usual, but I was able to build into it, maintain a pretty good pace, and finish strong. Probably about halfway, I started to experience some mind games, but I pushed trough and feel like I broke past the barrier! I was definitely looking forward to the end, but I wouldn’t say I was totally spent.
Now it’s only two more long runs and then off to Vegas!
